Ingredients:
Shallots - 1cup
Tomato - 1 cup
Ginger garlic paste - 2 spoon
Corriander powder - 3 tsp
Chilli powder - 1 spoon
Turmeric powder - 1/2 spoon
Salt as required
For Seasoning:
Fennel seeds - 1/4 spoon
Cinnamon and cloves
Bay leaves
Curry leaves
Oil
For grinding:
Jeera - 1/4spoon
Pepper - 1/4 spoon
Raw rice - 1/4 spoon
Garlic - 1cup
Cloves - 2
Preparation:
- Fry the above said ingredients (mentioned in grinding) without oil and grind with garlic without adding water into it.
- Heat oil in a pan and saute cinnamon, cloves, fenugreak, fennel seeds and curry leaves.
- Then add the sliced shallots and fry it till it become transparent.
- Now add sliced tomato, ginger garlic paste and turmeric powder try it till the raw smell goes off.
- Make a paste using corriander and chilly powder by adding small quantity of water and marrinate the chicken using this.
- Now add this marinated chicken to the pan and fry it along with 2 cups of water.
- Add salt as required and allow it cook in a low flame.
- Once the chicken is cooked add the grinded paste and mix it well.
- switch of the stove and serve hot. now the tasty chicken kuzhambu is ready!!!
